along with a 4 hour fishing trip to catch
the famous Rainbow Trout that Lake Taupo
is renowned for.

| About
Dunalistair House and The Kinloch Club |
 |
| The Kinloch Club |
|
Jack
Nicklaus officially opened
The Kinloch Club on 29th
February 2008. Being his only
Signature Course in New Zealand,
he was delighted with the result
of 4 years of construction.
Travel and Leisure Golf Magazine
also ranked The Kinloch
Club as the best new course
in the world outside North
America for 2007, and this
is continually backed up by
visitors often emphasising
that they feel it to be one
of, if not the best golf course
that Jack Nicklaus has designed
to date.

The
Kinloch Club is a true challenge
of golf, with the majority of guests who have stayed at Dunalistair House expressing delight of what has been moulded
into the undulating pumice landscape.

| Dunalistair House |
Dunalistair
House officially opened its doors
on the same day that Jack Nicklaus
visited in 2008. The home has
been designed primarily as a
golf and fishing retreat (two
main passions of owner Alistair
Tod as well as Jack Nicklaus
of course!)
For
travellers looking to explore
the central North Island, Dunalistair
House is also an exceptional
base to discover the volcanic
region of Ruapehu, Tongariro,
Taupo and Rotorua.
The
home offers exceptionally well
appointed living areas (a large
living room as well as a home
movie theater), along with 4
large bedrooms
(Californian Kingsize). All bedrooms
have ensuites.
A
point made by many guests who
have stayed is that they are
delighted that all four guest
rooms are private from each
other, and with all having there
own bathrooms.
The
property is appointed to the
highest standard with stone floors
throughout, feature schist and
cedar finishings..
The
house also features a state of
the art home automation system
and media centre which tie into
the Media Room and 50" plasma
screen.
There
is wireless broadband throughout
and a keypad entry system (code
texted to clients on arrival). |
Dunalistair
House - contemporary design.
Dunalistair
House - expansive living areas.
|
|
The
configuration also allows for all
super king beds to split to twins,
so up
to 8 people in any configuration
is possible. To return to the Dunalistair
House website click on the following
