About Dunalistair House at The Kinloch Club Golf Course

Owner of Dunalistair House, Alistair Tod embarked on a dream on the news that Jack Nicklaus was to design his only Signature golf course in New Zealand at Kinloch. That dream was to build a luxurious and unique holiday home overlooking the very golf course designed by his childhood hero.

Four years later, the dream was complete, and the doors of Dunalistair House opened, introducing a stunning piece of sophisticated and contemporary architecture. Numerous awards followed for designer Brendon Gordon of Tauranga, and soon after, Dunalistair House obtained the regions top official grading status as the only 5* Holiday Home from Qualmark.

10 years later and Dunalistair House has welcomed hundreds of distinguished guests from around the world. And those who visit continue to comment on the timeless design of the home.

In offering Dunalistair House for guests to enjoy, Alistair takes utmost pride in being your point of contact from initial enquiry right through to your day of arrival. He is incredibly proud of the home that bares part of his name and is happy to share the story as to how the name came about if you are interested ! He will take huge delight and pleasure in sharing his extensive hospitality and tourism experience with you, to ensure you maximise your time while staying in the delightful Kinloch region.

Whether you are looking for a family holiday escape, private weekend retreat for a special occasion, or an intimate wedding venue or golfers package, Alistair will be able to assist you with as little or as much additional detailing as you require.
